- The health insurance companies involved are pursuing the goal of concluding discount agreements on the active substance umeclidinium bromide/vilanterol (combination of active substances) with all suitable pharmaceutical companies in accordance with Section 130c SGB V. The contract is concluded as part of Kran's Open House Originals processkenkassen:
Individual negotiations about contract content are not conducted, uniform conditions apply. The health insurance companies do not guarantee individual contractual partners any exclusivity. The contract period is a maximum of 24 months starting on May 1st, 2023. The contract ends at the latest am April 30, 2025, regardless of the date of conclusion of the contract. If the patent expires before the end date mentioned above, the contract ends automatically at the end of the month in which the patent expires.
