Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein GmbH (VHH for short) is a partner in the Hamburg transport association and operates 170 routes with over 2,300 employees and 662 buses at 13 locations in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.
In order to be able to expand the focus of bus transport on e-mobility , areVHH depots to be converted accordingly. For this purpose, the VHH is planning to build a new workshop and administration building on Hans-Boeckler-Ring in Norderstedt as well as the corresponding dismantling of an existing workshop and administration building.
The bus operations and administration operations are for the Bauphase outsourced, the existing buildings (factory hall, office building, basement) will be dismantled by the company before construction begins.
In the new building, two lanes for the buses are to be created on the ground floor: the workshop lane with a roof workstation, brake test stand and light adjustment position; dThe care track with a car wash and petrol pumps. The necessary technical and storage rooms are located in the middle of the two lanes. The administration, changing rooms, information point and other necessary technical rooms are located on the upper floors. There is an egg on the staggered floorn large meeting room with roof terrace.
The second floor cantilevers over the washing and fuel lane hall at a height of approximately 5.50m, creating a roof for stored materials and the outside fuel pump.
