- 01.01.427 + 428 - engineering structures 01.01.427 + 428 - structural planning In the coming years, the city of Bergisch Gladbach is striving to implement the measures of the urban wastewater disposal concept (ABK) as comprehensively as possible Water Framework Directive (WFD). As part of the ABK, the city of Bergisch Gladbach is striving to implement various measures as extensively as possible. The city of Bergisch Gladbach's wastewater works operates in the northern district of Schildgen, on the Schlebuscher Street, the Hummelsheim dirty water pumping station. The pumping station is located in an FFH area (fauna-flora-habitat area). The task of the pumping station is to continuously increase the amount of wastewater flowing in via the DN 300 gravity sewer and to transport it via a Pressure pipeline DN 300 (subproject 01.01.428) into the Nittumer Weg transfer shaft. The dirty water is then sent to wastewater treatment via the downstream sewer network. The Hummelsheim pumping station (subproject 01.01.427) corresponds no longer state of the art and should be rebuilt. The DN 300 pressure pipeline (subproject 01.01.428) should also be replaced due to its age and inadequate flow velocities. The requirements are already in place for both measures Results from HOAI performance phases 1 to 3.
