  The tender for the provision of services within the framework of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) aims to strengthen climate resilience in the Mékrou, Pendjari, and Mono river basins in Benin by 2029 and targets 300,000 beneficiaries. The contractor will be responsible for conducting inclusive Climate Risk Analyses (CRAs) and supporting and/or preparing IWRM measures in line with the National Adaptation Plan and the "GIZ Climate Risk Sourcebook" (2023). Two service packages are foreseen: 1) Climate Risk Analysis (CRA) and 2) Planning and Support for IWRM Implementation. Service Package 1: Climate Risk Analysis (CRA) The main objective of this assignment is to conduct Climate Risk Analyses (CRAs) for the Mekrou, Pendjari, and Mono catchment areas. These analyses are intended to guide public policy decisions and prioritize investments in climate change adaptation in accordance with the methodology of the "GIZ Climate Risk Sourcebook" (2023). The CRA must identify climate risk hotspots by analysing current and future vulnerabilities related to the water sector and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). It targets a broad range of stakeholders, including national and local decision-makers, the private sector, agricultural cooperatives, and civil society organisations.
