Description:
Urban development promotes numerous options and instruments to use empty old buildings again. However, these broad options are not known in many places. This is due to a gene ration in the administrations. Here is the question of which measures Municipalities can be better supported to use the instruments for vacancy activation. With the "action strategy vacancy activation", which was refined in January 2025, new knowledge formats of urban development funding have been announced in order to make the instruments broader. This Research project is intended to ensure that the municipalities can easily identify and use the appropriate funding opportunities for urban development for the old building activities of buildings of private owners. For this purpose, community Sam with the countries should approaches to support the Municipalities are discussed and developed. The placement takes place via a webinar and two regional workshops to which representatives of the municipalities are invited. In addition, information is provided on urban development.
