The project is continued from LPH 3 of the HOAI (gradually commissioned LPH3-9 and special services).

Existing building: The building is located at the Johann-Joachim-Becher-Weg 30 in the central area of the JOHANNAS campusGutenberg University Mainz. From the outside, the construction with its neighboring twin, the institute of "genetics", forms a unit. Between the two institute buildingsis a joint staircase with elevator. The layout of the floor plan corresponds to a classic two -federation with a flat roof, the horizontal structure consists of basement, ground floor, upper floor and attic (technology floor). The building of "biochemistry" has been for severalYears no longer in operation. A pollutant renovation is currently being carried out here, in the train of which there is a gutting.
