• Project description for the award procedure: New construction of the Gettorf fire station The new construction of the Gettorf fire station is a future-oriented project that meets the requirements of a modern fire department and the operational readiness of the fire department in the office Sustainably strengthens Danish prosperity. The planned fire station will be built on a plot of land measuring approximately 18,700 m² at Eckernförder Chaussee 17 in Gettorf. The planning is carried out independently of a possible location of the police station same property. Objectives and requirements The project aims to create a functional, cost-efficient and robust infrastructure for the fire department. The structural design is based on cost-effective Commercial hall construction for the vehicle hall as well as an easy-care and long-lasting construction for the administration and functional areas. In order to ensure the future viability of the new fire department building and to promote the Gettorf community's climate goals, various sustainability aspects should be taken into account in the planning and execution.
