Description: For the implementation of a corresponding EU regulation, a pilot test of the government of Upper Bavaria / Aerial Mountains (ROB) has been runs since the beginning of 2019 with a new control track technology (CT scanner instead of X-ray devices) in Terminal 2 (T2). Since the new control track technology and its arrangement has proven itself in the test phase and allows a significantly increased passenger throughput at the security control (SIKO), the central security control in the T2 on E04 is to be completely converted to the new track system.
A complete trollout of this new track technology due to the increased footprint requires a complete conversion / restructuring of the current security control area including the relocation of the adjacent boarding card control and storage area range (Lining). The overall measure takes place in several construction sections while maintaining the ongoing operation.
