Description:
The P20 car park, built in 2000, is located on the grounds of Munich Airport. With around 6,400 parking spaces, it is the fourth largest car park at the airport in Germanyreplaced, which has led to significant wear of the surface coating. Some areas were examined by means of chloride tests, as it was found that repairs can be carried out without any major concrete repairs. A new coating system is to be applied in this area.In addition, expansion joints in this area will be replaced and painting work carried out. Furthermore, already damaged and corroded floor drains must be replaced. Demolition and reprofiling work is also being carried out selectively. For this, the punctual structural plan is required hereung. If statically loaded components and/or areas are affected in the course of these measures, they may only be processed with the consent of the structural engineer or after prior examination and approval. Above all, this also applies to weakening of the cross-sections/dimensions due to core borivets, slits, chiselling, etc.
In order to prevent the existing damage from progressing further and new damaged areas from arising, repair measures are required while maintaining the operation of the multi-storey car park.
