- As part of a planned flat roof renovation of the aircraft maintenance building Hangar 4, at Munich Airport, Maintenance Allee, FMG intends to replace the partially dilapidated F90 fire protection cladding of the steel structure of the hall structure from cement-bonded calcium silicate fire protection panels from the Thermax brandas a whole, as well as the double-layered fall protection nets of the hall structure stretched underneath and to be dismantled or removed. According to the budget, the construction work is to be carried out in spring 2024.
The hall roof of Hangar 4 has a rectangular floor plan and an area of approx. 13,000 m2. TheFlat roof has an approximate height above ground of approx. 32m.
The roof area is divided in the southern area by an approx. 153m long, continuous strip of light. The maintenance corridor is located in the southern area of the light strip. The scope of the renovation includes the steel structure of the hall structures mainly in the area of the trusses of the roof support structure as well as individual supports and stiffening associations.
The roof structure of the hall was made of steel and covered with F90 fire protection cladding. The trapezoidal sheet metal of the flat roof lies on the purlins of the secondary facadechwerke up. The roof structure consists of gate trusses with a height of approx. 22-37.5m; Main trusses, with a height of approx. 25-32m, purlins, with a height of approx. 32m and the facade diagonals, with a height of approx. 0-37.5m.
