- FMG intends to carry out a flat roof renovation of the aircraft maintenance building Hangar 4 at Munich Airport, Maintenance Allee. According to the budget, the renovation measure should start in summer 2024 and be carried out by the end of 2025. The scope of the renovation includes the Han hall roofeven 4, with a rectangular floor plan and approx. 13,000 m2 of space. The flat roof has an approximate height above ground of approx. 32 m. The roof area is divided in the southern area by an approx. 153 m long, continuous strip of light. The maintenance corridor is in the southern area. In the course ofTo renovate the roof area, the existing main drainage system should be dismantled and the main and emergency drainage system should be reinstalled as a negative pressure system after current rain donations. In addition, there are temporary measures during the construction phase, trace heating for the entry points and the installation of an SCondensation water insulation with sheet metal jacket. The building is located in the security area of the airport and is currently used by an airline as a maintenance hall for the regular maintenance and repair of aircraft. During the construction period, the airline will clear the hall so that the work can continuedisruptive. The surrounding buildings, including the adjacent office annexes, are in regular operation, sometimes around the clock. There is operational traffic on the streets around the building.
