- The subject of this award procedure is the remaining lifespan assessment, structural investigation and analysis, structural planning (recalculation of the statics) and planning services for possible repair concepts on the existing rolling bridge structures N1-N2, N3-N4 and S5-S6 at Muench Airporten.
These roller bridges connect the aprons with the taxiway system. These are therefore only used by aircraft to roll over. Since these rolling bridges are located on the border between DFS (German Air Traffic Control) and Munich Airport, braking occurs regularly (from toup to 40km/h) of the aircraft.
Due to age, the roller bridge structures with groundwater basins are increasingly showing symptoms that indicate that the condition of the structures is deteriorating. In addition, the frequency of groundwater intrusion through the groundwater basins is increasing againto regularly lead to damage in the road area below the rolling bridges.
