Description:
In order to increase performance and to ensure network stability for regular airport operations, a new third network is to be built at Munich Airport. This network is primarily intended to integrate electromobility consumers and photovoltaic systems. Presently willIt is assumed that around 40 MW will be available for future e-mobility and generation with photovoltaics with a peak of around 50 MW.
The planned output is around 60 MVA. For this purpose, there is a new substation on the FMG site with two auto-transformers of 80 MVA each in an n-1 configurationplanned.
Basically, the 3rd network should be operated galvanically separately from the existing supply networks 1 and 2. However, emergency couplings must be provided in the event that the existing main networks 1 and 2 fail. A battery storage system should also be included in the third networkA 24-hour gross reserve of approx. 200 MWh can be integrated. Whether a central storage system or several decentralized storage systems will be used is currently still being clarified.
The planning services for the new 110/20 kV substation to be built, the battery storage system(s) and the ones to be builtPhotovoltaic systems are advertised separately. The required interface engineering for the aforementioned lots is part of the contract.
