Description:
On the site of the Duisburg Zoo, it is planned to replace the existing seal system with a new system. Along with the new building, the water basin and their adjacent enclosure zones will be made more attractive for humans and animals. The new seal system consists of a new oneDesigned outdoor area with two water basins for the sea lions, which are connected by a pre -pool. Furthermore, land zones from sand surfaces and rock formations are intended. The technology for the new seal system should, together with the animal enclosures and the work areas of theNurses, can be accommodated in a directly adjacent new building. The new building becomes recognizable as a single -storey technology building, which is largely in the ground due to the water treatment to be accommodated. The building "Technology and Stable Building" for the Robben has oneAbout base area of approx. 17 m x 17 m (LXB) and is approx. 10 m high. It consists of three floors; 1.
