• Description:
• The KIT is planning a new building on Campus Sued for the accommodation of a research group with the focus of medical technology, robotics, life science engineering and data sciences in the research areas of nanomaterials and health technology. Processinghealth is aDesigned research project on location development, in which 120 scientists will work directly on the processing of health technologies. The new building is to be equipped with technical areas, chemical, biological and physical laboratories and computer rooms. TheTotal premises including disposal offices and meeting rooms should be made available to KIT scientists as part of ongoing projects and processes. The construction of the building comprises a laboratory building with areas for processing and digitization.Furthermore, offices for the employees as well as meeting and conference rooms are planned. The building is divided into public, semi -public and a security area. No special facilities are provided in the outer area. The planning task includes a usable area ofAround 2,500m2 and a net user area of ​​around 4,700m2. Processinghealth would like to use their research work by means of events and lectures. A good access to the research building by interested parties with a representative input is therefore mandatory.The construction site on the Adenauer Ring / Dierlacher Tor is predestined due to its central layers and the good accessibility for the intended public relations. The immediate neighborhood for computer science also creates synergies with the KIT faculty of computer science.
