Description:
High -resolution measurements in the atmospheric border layer at the airport can significantly improve nowcasting and short -term forecast and thus increase safety in airport operation. Real -time representation of wind shear and wind rotation in the lowest 1000 m of the atmosphere should be made available to flight guide. In addition, estimate of density and heel by in-situ measurements (measurements, directly in the atmosphere and not with the help of measurements from a distance) should be determined.
The vertebral lugs generated in the wake of aircraft are a potential danger for subsequent aircraft. The safety distances to be observed therefore limit the capacity of heavily frequented airports. One way to increase the runway capacity tactically must be optimized depending on the prevailing weather situation and the resulting swirl towing behavior.
