As part of the GBM "tax office Annaberg -Buchholz, needs -based accommodation" is in the grounds of the former Franciscan monastery (Klosterstrasse12, Magazingasse 16) and built in the immediately neighboring site Klosterstrasse 6 - 10 the tax office of the Erzgebirge district, headquartered in Annaberg -Buchholz. The tax offices Schwarzenberg and Stollberg remain as further locations of the tax office Annaberg-Buchholz in their previousGet size. After completion of the GBM, the Zschopau tax office is dissolved. In the future, the tasks will take care of the other tax office locations in the Erzgebirge district.
On the grounds of Klosterstrasse 6 - 10 is the former post office building A building A, which for use asTax office has already been rebuilt and renovated. On the neighboring former monastery area (Klosterstrasse 12, Magazingasse 16) there are two existing buildings - buildings B and C, which are currently still being used as a tax office. A former extension on building B was already dismantled in 2016.Extensive archaeological excavations took place on the monastery grounds from May 2016 - June 2017.
