• 26-07_Zentrum_für_regionale_Erzeugnisse_Luebbenau_Object planning_Open and indoor spaces The task for the property planning to be awarded is the renovation, conversion and expansion of the existing locomotive shed and the adjacent areas. With the center for regional products (ZfrE), the “Gurkenwelt”, an immersive experience is to be created. The planning services are advertised as general planning and include property planning for the building (architect) in accordance with Section 34 HOAI, property planning for interior architecture in accordance with Section 34 HOAI as well as property planning for outdoor facilities in accordance with Section 39 HOAI. With the construction of the center for regional products (ZfrE), the "Gurkenwelt", SPREEWELTEN GMBH intends to create an immersive experience that does justice to the importance of the Spreewald cucumber. The ZfrE will thus become a place that creates identity for Lusatia and at the same time a contemporary brand platform. The site and the listed buildings of the old locomotive shed at Lübbenau station provide the ideal backdrop for the construction of the "Cucumber World". The total costs for the implementation of the entire project are assumed to be approximately EUR 30 million (net).
