- The Institute of Pathology at the University Hospital Halle (Saale) (UKH) is a service provider in the field of pathology for a large healthcare provider, especially in the Saxony-Anhalt region. A high-resolution is used to digitally support intraoperative frozen section diagnostics Slide scanner system including image transmission at three different locations of our cooperation partner - the AMEOS East Group (Aschersleben, Halberstadt and Haldensleben) - required. The three small tabletop devices scan frozen cutting material and enable the sharing of digital frozen cuts, in order to be able to guarantee cross-location supply. The exchange of digital scans is guaranteed via the existing "HALO AP" software from Indica Labs. As a back-up, the scans can also be transmitted via a transmission path that can be agreed upon together. Device access per location must be implemented between the provider and the UKH IT.
