- 3. Power grid, procurement of transformer stations The project "Munich Airport - Construction of a 3rd power grid" envisages the construction of a new, third medium-voltage grid (20 kV) at Munich Airport. The goal is a sustainable and future-proof energy supply of the airport, especially for the integration of electromobility and photovoltaic systems. The third network is intended to provide a transport capacity of up to 80 MVA in 2 expansion stages (2 x 40 MVA) and consists of two parallel heavy-duty rings Ensure energy distribution via 9 heavy-duty stations (SLTS) and their associated supply rings with numerous medium-voltage substations (MS-US). The overall project includes: Heavy duty rings (2 x 40 MVA, 20 kV) with a total length of approx. 13.5 km consisting of 6 systems each with individual conductors NA2XS(FL)2Y 1x300/25 and 9 heavy-duty stations (SLTS) as nodes for energy distribution. Medium-voltage sub-rings for connecting consumers and producers (PV systems, e-mobility). Cable conduit routes (DN200 for heavy-duty rings, DN150 for lower rings) in open and closed construction. Shaft and route systems including penetrations (microtunneling, flushing drilling) and accessible supply tunnels. Control technology, protection and Own power supply systems according to IEC 61850.
