- In order to evaluate the image quality of CT patients in relation to radiation exposure, user-friendly software must be developed and validated.
To do this, two algorithms must be developed that quantify the image quality from a DiCom layer picture. An algorithm is to be created based on methods of artificial intelligence and the other based on established methods. The algorithms are to be integrated into a user -friendly tool that combines the statement on image quality with the existing exposure values.
To validate the tool, the results of both methods can be compared using extensive image data with the reviews of human observers.
