- The search for the best possible repository location for the permanently safe disposal of highly radioactive waste is one of the greatest social challenges in Germany. At the same time, the search for the repository is probably the largest, most comprehensive and long -end -time participation project in Germany, which, with the upcoming location regions proposal, should strongly gain public attention and political significance.
