Description: The Country Package Mozambique is part of the Global Prediction "Green Innovation Centers in the Agricultural and Food Economy" of the Global Special Initiative "One World Without Hunger" (SEWOH) of the BMZ. It aims to contribute to a sustainable rural development through innovations along the value chains and baobab in the so-called Beira corridor with a focus on Sofala and Manica provinces. It contributes to the objectives of the Globalvorhaben:
1. Productivity enhancement,
2. Income increase,
3. Adaptation to projected climate risks (climate adjustment),
4. Corporate promotion,
5. Employment promotion.
Target group are 50,000 small-scale family businesses and local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (KKMU), which act as a mediator of innovation and responsible for the trading framework.
