Description : GIZ has been commissioned to implement the project "Nile Delta Water Management (NDWM)" in Egypt on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The overall objective of the project is to improve conditions for efficient water use in the sub-sectors water supply and wastewater management as well as in irrigated agriculture. Referring to water supply and wastewater management the project is linked to the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities (MoHUUC) at the national level and supports the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) and its Affiliated Companies (ACs) at Governorate level. A Contractor is required to provide consulting services to strengthen management capacities of the HCWW and ACs related to efficient water use and climate-sensitive operation of water and wastewater systems. A team of experts shall be provided by the Contractor for this purpose. Close coordination and consultation with the GIZ project team in Egypt will be required.
