The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH (AG) is a globally active federal company that supports the German Federal Government in realizing its goals of international cooperation for sustainable development and has been active worldwide for many decadeshas implemented projects and programs in various subject areas. This is mainly done on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), but also for other federal ministries or the European Commission.
