Description:
The contractor is tasked with ensuring strategic advice and technical support within the framework of the Climate Smart Agricultural and Food Systems (ProSAC) program in Togo. The contract extends over a period of 22 months (March 2023 to December 2025.
The orderThe participant is responsible for supporting the achievement of the following outputs of ProSAC:
- Output 1: The technical and organizational capacities of private and public actors for the strategic planning of climate-smart irrigation projects are established.
- Output 2:The technical capacities of the implementation structures for the development of commercial, food and climate-smart irrigation are strengthened.
- Output 4: Innovative and climate-smart irrigation technologies are implemented in collaboration with the private sector.
The serviceThe contractor's tasks are structured into 3 main areas (work package):
- WP1: Irrigation in practice. This includes developing practical training programs at pilot locations, advising partners on technical and agricultural-based issues and setting up modelsloperated.
