• Description:
• Pro-PASSaR II (Project - Promotion of Actions for a Resilient Health System) started in February 2024 and will come to an end on the 31st January 2027. The project is funded by BMZ and co-funded by AFD (Agence Française de Développement). The Pro-PASSaR II project together with AFD aims to contribute, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and other Technical and Financial Partners -PTF, to the reduction of maternal mortality in Cameroon, The specific objective of Pro-PASSaR II is "Women in the selected regions of the project in Cameroon are better able to realize their right to sexual and reproductive health." The interventions of the Pro-PASSaR II are structured around 3 fields of action with the following OUTPUTS: 1. Strengthening women's access to sexual and reproductive health services 2. Improving the quality of sexual and reproductive health services in the regions selected for the project 3. Strengthening the governance and coordination capacities of national, regional and local actors for the implementation of the first phase of universal health coverage in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
