GIZ carries out consulting projects in around 90 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe. These projects are administered administratively and by the headquarters in Eschborn and Bonn as well as by the approximately 80 field offices in the partner countries and in Germany professionally supervised. GIZ primarily uses public funding. The main client is the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). In addition, GIZ is also for other, predominantly international, projects Client active.
