- 8/2010/S0617 - Framework agreement on maintenance and repair of IVECO + FAUN vehicles By concluding the framework agreement (duration 4 years), the contractor undertakes to supply vehicles from the manufacturer Iveco, including Iveco airfield vehicles, Road tankers, Eurotrakker, Iveco - Unprotected Wounded Transport (UVT) as well as all other Iveco products (protected/unprotected) imported into the Bundeswehr, with their assemblies and attachments (e.g. spare wheel winches, units, compressors etc.) as well as trailer vehicles of the Bundeswehr and fire extinguishing vehicles such as the manufacturer FAUN to carry out services: Carrying out maintenance work, necessary repairs, accident repairs, breakdown service and tests in accordance with the relevant regulations Manufacturer's regulations and legally required tests. The service is generally provided in the contractor's factory/workshop. If necessary or in exceptional cases, on-the-road assistance or repairs must be carried out at the location of the device may be possible. (2) The contract service extends across the regions of Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia. There must be a quick connection, up to 20 km away, to the busy and used federal highways A2 and A30. Besides that A one-way route of no more than 60 km must be guaranteed on the fastest route to the Bückeburg location. This requirement meets the approach of economical planning of human and financial resources when transporting vehicles between client and contractor. Furthermore, immediate assistance (on weekdays) must be ensured on these federal highways and the main traffic routes in the event of vehicle failures, relocations and vehicle marches such as to the Augustdorf military training area.
