On the federal highway (BAB) 4 Goerlitz - Aachen, northwest of AS Magdala, at operating kilometer 185.2, the new Pfingsttal PWC facility is to be built. Die Measure included:
- Implementation of existing earth wall and new noise barrier
- Development of the PWC system with drinking water pipe, dirty water sewer and cable systems (power and telecommunications systems)
- New construction of rest areas including deceleration and acceleration lanes on the existing A 4
- Traffic safety
The rest area is being built on land that was previously used for agricultural purposes, which is located in the Magdala district of Weimarer Land.
