Description:
The subject of the service to be awarded is the creation of a comprehensive rest area concept for the section of the A6 between the Weinsberg motorway junction (AK) and the Baden-Wuerttemberg/Bavaria state border. The concept includes assessment, further development and strategic planning all existing and potential PWC facilities (parking space with toilet) along this section, taking into account traffic development in accordance with the 2040 traffic forecast of the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV).
Scope of services
-Analysis of the inventory of all existing rest and PWC facilities in terms of capacity, equipment, intensity of use and transport connections.
(OPTIONAL: forecast 2050)
- Implementation of service phases 1 and 2 of property planning Traffic facilities in accordance with HOAI for each rest area in the examination area.
-Planning of telematic parking systems for intelligent parking space management, especially for truck parking spaces.
-Development of a strategic concept to ensure a needs-based supply of rest areas taking into account:
oSpatial planning and environmental concerns,
oTechnical framework conditions,
oSecurity aspects and
oUser comfort and accessibility.
-Coordination with ongoing and planned infrastructure measures, in particular with the second planning phase of the A6 extension.
