A98, VKE E021 section 6 and E023 section 5, cross-sectional land management concept
The Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Autobahn GmbH of the federal government (German unit of long-distance street planningand -bau) GmbH plans the new construction of the A 98.
The A 98 -Hochrheinautobahn -should in future connect the A 5 in the west to the A 81 in the east and thus represents an essential west -east axis on the border with Switzerland. It is to be classified as a large -scale connection to RIN street category.The route between the motorway triangle, because on the Rhine (connection A 5) and Lauchringen was divided into a total of 10 sections.
In the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan (BVWP) 2030, the first directional lane are in the priority (VB), the second directional lane with further needs with plan rights (WB*)contain. The legal basis is the currently valid Federal Running Straight Expansion Act - FstraBG (changed on January 20, 2005 on December 23, 2016).
DEGES GmbH is with the continuation of the scheduled planning approval procedure of the section 5 between Rheinfelden and Schwoerstadt and the creationthe planning approval documents for section 6 between Schwoerstadt and Murg commissioned. For both sections, the construction law is to be created and in a further step the construction of the routes until the traffic is released.
