- The Harburg district is a public waste disposal provider within the meaning of Section 17 of the Circular Economy Act (KrWG) in conjunction with Section 6 Paragraph 1 of the Lower Saxony Waste Act (NAbfG). The district commissions third parties to carry out various disposal services. The subject of this Only green waste submitted by residents of the Harburg district (especially the Buchholz area) is open for tender. Only small amounts of green waste are accepted there, free of charge. Debt collection by the contractor is not necessary. The acceptance of the Green cuttings must be done at ground level. The aim of this tender is to be able to accept the delivery quantities that arise due to the elimination of the green waste acceptance at the Nenndorf waste handling reception elsewhere, close to the location and at ground level, thus reversing the tense traffic situation and to equalize in Nenndorf-Rosengarten. Green waste within the meaning of this tender (waste code 20 02 01) is biodegradable waste from private gardens in - depending on the season - different compositions (leaves, scarifying material, lawn clippings, plant waste, wood and shrub cuttings; tree stumps and branches with a diameter of more than 10 cm are excluded). As part of this tender, the Harburg district is awarding the following services: Pos. 1: Visual inspection and quantity control of green waste during free delivery by citizens of the Harburg district on the basis of the waste disposal statutes for the Harburg district Pos. 2: Transport of the accepted green waste to the recycling plant Compostplatz Tostedt Pos. 3: Transport of the accepted green waste to the contractor's recycling plant Pos. 4: proper and harmless recycling of green waste in an approved recycling plant of the contractor.
