At the Hohen Wangelin location, the State Research Institute for Agriculture and Fishing MV operates a pilot plant for the development of commercial pikeperch production. The aim of the project is to set up a commercial pikeperch culture in location-independent rearing systems in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. An essential component for the successful implementation of aquaculture projects is the smooth operation of various systems, which are adapted to certain stages of life of the fish. These include the posture systems for rushing the eggs and the cultivation of the fish larvae from slip to the day 50 after slip, but also the provision of large quantities of living food for feeding and rearing the pikeperch larvae. In the third agent project, modules have previously been used to vomit zander eggs and the cultivation of pikeperch larvae, which have been constantly adapted and upgraded to the production conditions.
