- KfW is undergoing an extensive and ongoing modernization process as part of its strategic orientation according to KfWplus. Externally, the funding offer should focus more strongly on socially relevant developments and sustainability criteria as well as a stronger orientationation to the expectations and needs of customers can be achieved. Internally, KfW continues to develop its processes and organization. This includes optimizing business processes using the opportunities of further digitalization, renewal and standardizationation of IT systems, the application of the stricter regulatory requirements for banks (including CRR, MaRisk, EBA guidelines) and the application of the Banking Act (KWG) related to the special role of KfW. In addition, the risk controlling area underwent a long-term reorganizationshould contribute steadily to these goals. KfW's risk controlling is now structured into the central disciplines of group risk, credit and equity risk as well as market and liquidity risk, which are supported by the interdisciplinary responsibilities for data, systems and projects as well as model risksCo-management are supported.
