Description:
The new police operations center is to be built on the existing property of the Hamburg Police Headquarters, which will complement and sustainably improve the existing functions. The property is built on with extensive existing buildings. What characterizes the location are, above all, the historical andlisted barracks buildings that enclose a rectangular, former parade ground and the new building of the star-shaped police headquarters. The new building of the police operations center is planned as an almost square, compact cube on an area of approx. 40 x 40 m. The planned construction sited is located directly to the west of the existing ensemble of historical barracks buildings and is oriented in the north, in accordance with the B plan, at the building boundary of the urban building line of the farm building. It will be a multi-story building with 3 or 5 floors and a height of 18.50 me essential urban design significance is preserved on the site.
