- Expansion, technical and fire protection renovation at the Hospital Foundation's old people's and nursing home, Gartenweg 9 in 87600 Kaufbeuren.
The Hospital Foundation's old people's and nursing home in Kaufbeuren currently consists of a building ensemble that has been developed in several construction phases. The existing inventoryAs part of the construction work, the building will be renovated in terms of fire protection in order to comply with current regulations. In addition, an extension with barrier-free apartments in accordance with DIN 18040 will be built and an old component will be demolished in return. As part of the construction project, a central, public building will be constructedAn accessible park for the residents of the old people's home will be created, which is planned to be of high quality and barrier-free and tailored to the needs of the users.
Currently, around 190 people live in the old people's and nursing home. The retirement home operates its own commercial kitchen and laundry, which is open all weekig contribute to the care of the residents and will remain in operation throughout the construction phase.
Residential groups for 54 residents are planned for the new building, consisting of barrier-free single rooms and common rooms with kitchenettes.
