- In the Zero4cruise project, a 500 kW fuel cell system is examined, which consists of a methanol reformer and a series of LT-PEM stacks. In addition, large stacks, both LT and HT with an output of up to 250 kW, from the Institute of the DLR Institute for Technical Thermodynamics (DLR TT) are developed, which are experimentally researched in a stack test in Mariti-Mer Elegvanung of the DLR MS. The heat pump is one of the most important components of the test environment at the DLR MS location in Kiel. The fuel cell systems should first be at operating temperature be brought and cooled into operation later.
