Description: The “Regenbogenland” daycare center in the city of Hagenow is centrally located in the “Kietz” district. It is the second largest day-care center of the 3 municipal day-care centers. The “Regenbogenland” day care center comprises 3 crèche groups, 9 kindergarten groups and 8 after-school care groups.
Around 60 after-school children at the Europaschule are currently receiving their lunch from the “Regenbogenland” day-care center and must therefore be taken into account for the time being.
The 60 day care children are not included in the given average annual needs. The subsidized after-school care center for up to 192 children is currently being built in the direct, walking distance of the “Regenbogenland” daycare center and the European School. With the completion of the new after-school care center, lunch for all after-school children will be provided by the food supply contractor for the European school. Completion is planned for the second half of 2022.
