The special purpose association waste recycling south of the southern Hesse (ZAS) has the task that remaining residual waste from domestic waste after avoidance and recycling, has the taskTo dispose of bulky waste and domestic waste-like commercial waste for the local authorities City of Darmstadt, Darmstadt-Dieburg, Odenwaldkreis and its cooperation partners. For this purpose, the ZAS has and operates the garbage heating unit (MHKW) Darmstadt. With the implementation of theOperative operation is commissioned by Entega AG. The waste incineration of the MHKW Darmstadt consisted of three combustion lines, lines 1, 2 and 3, with an approved annual throughput capacity of 238.280 mg/a.
The Entega has theReceived BIMSCHG approval notice. The approved annual garbage throughput of the waste incineration lines 3 and 4 is 225,000 mg/a, the approved capacity of drained municipal sewage sludge in the KSMB is 60,000 mg/a.
