Description:
The CAMPFIRE implementation project will carry out the conception and research at the Rostock-Poppendorf site for the implementation of the entire "green ammonia" transport chain for direct use in engines and fuel cells for stationary energy supply and maritime mobility as well as for the supply ofPool hydrogen filling stations. The implementation project thus serves as the initial spark for the development of utilization chains that serve on an industrial scale in the field of the carbon-free hydrogen economy 2.0.
In the CAMPFIRE Open Innovation Lab (COIL), test fields and infrastructure are developedures were designed and implemented, reactors and test systems were developed, manufactured, adapted and optimized, technical support for development work was carried out and test operations were carried out.
In the COIL on the premises of YARA GmbH and Co KG, containerized test systems for motorical combustion is supplied with ammonia. The ammonia is supplied to the test containers under pressure liquefaction at a temperature of approx. 6C and a pressure of approx. 8 bar. To supply the test facilities, it is necessary to convert the ammonia from the liquid to the gas phase
This requires the development/procurement of two evaporator systems of size M and L.
For module M, an additional NH3 pump must be integrated into the system. The pump is provided by the client.
