- In 2021, the research project "Complaining of the stress of agricultural areas with biocides, medicines and pesticides in Germany (FKZ 3720 63 4020)" started. The aim of the project is a first state recording of the chemical strain in agricultural soils in Germany. So far, a total of 100 locations have been taken throughout Germany; Chemical residue analyzes were carried out for 30 of these locations with a destination for a large part of the substances of 0.01 mg/kg. The results of these first sampling showed that only a small part of the analyzed substances was within the demonstrable limits. However, it is known from recent, current publications on residue analyzes in neighboring European countries that when the determination limit is reduced to 0.001 mg/kg, chemical residues in lower concentrations can be measured (e.g. Franco et al 2024; Froger et al 2023).
