  • The main goal of the project is to examine aqueous samples as well as floating samples for their phosphonate content, especially from HEDP and PBTC.

    With these analytical examinations, the accompanying analysis required by Test Guideline (TG) to the Federal Environmental Agency should be almost simultaneouslyExperiments carried out in accordance with OECD TG 211 "Daphnia Magna Reproduction Test" 11 (OECD, 2012).

    For this, the analysis laboratory is on the one hand aqueous samples made from standard tests according to OECD TG 211 and on the other hand particle samples and aqueous samples from experiments withParticle prensions are provided based on the test regulation mentioned. In the test design with floating particles, an analysis separated according to liquid and firm phase is planned. In addition, there are suitable preliminary tests for the load efficiency of the particles with the test substances HEDPor PBTC and to carry out on load stability.

    In addition to this main goal and subject to sampling in 2025, natural sediment samples are to be analyzed towards their phosphonate content and depth profiles are created. By examining these samples, findings canPersistence and deposit behavior are obtained, which can consequently contribute to a better understanding of environmental behavior.
