• Description:
• The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen intends to award architectural and engineering services for the replacement of the ventilation system and the conversion of the laboratory rooms in the Forensic Engineering Institute (KTI) in the Vahr police headquarters. The aim of the measure is to: To bring forensic chemistry laboratory areas in the existing building up to current technical standards. As part of a realignment of laboratory tasks, a conversion of the laboratory rooms with associated usable rooms is therefore necessary. The equipment of the Laboratory technical facilities are expanded with the necessary ventilation and media technology connections. Particular attention is paid to the renewal of the ventilation system and the ductwork with interventions in fire protection and statics. Structural Changes are only planned marginally to the interior of the building. Completion is currently scheduled for the end of 2027. Planning and execution should take place as quickly as possible, as the CTI is currently very limited in its work. The Ventilation system does not meet current occupational health and safety requirements for some examinations, so these must be outsourced. The cost framework (KG 200 - 600) of the measure is currently set at around 1.7 million euros / gross.
