- The Friedenstein Foundation Gotha (FSG) and Hessen-Kassel-Heritage (HSK) intend to award a contract for logistics and transport services for art and cultural goods for the joint exhibition project "Rembrandt 1632. Emergence of a Brand" through a joint tender. The The exhibition will first be presented at Wilhelmshoehe Palace in Kassel (May 7th - August 9th, 2026) before being shown at the Ducal Museum in Gotha (September 6th - December 6th, 2026).
Art forwarding company for the transport of works of art
The subject of the tender is the execution of the individual national and international transport logistics for the works of art (paintings and graphics) shown in the exhibition. The service includes the transport of a total of around 62 works of art (paintings, graphics) from around 28 lenders from around 6 countries. This includes in particular: a) Art transport: - planning, Organization and implementation of national and international transport in compliance with the specifications of the lenders and borrowers - transport in special vehicles, under the supervision of specialist staff - transport by land and sea; by plane - as direct trips or in combination trips in the same city - Delivery to the respective special exhibition area b) Packaging and unpacking: - Provision of suitable rental climate boxes - Provision of suitable packaging material (e.g. Lupo, Tyvek) - Packaging and unpacking by suitable specialist personnel (art packers) c) ... - Documents:
