Hamburg Airport GmbH (FHG) is planning to renew the asphalt surface in the area of taxiway D1 parallel to runways 05/23. The construction site is located in the security area of Hamburg Airport (HAM). The asphalt surface renewal of taxiway D1 is in the specified timen Expected to be carried out over a period of 3 weeks (partly as part of piste closures). It is planned to carry out an asphalt pavement renovation over a length of approx. 800 m in the area of taxiway D1 and a concrete pavement renovation using Sami construction over a length of approx. 900 m. The RenewThe taxiway surface must be constructed as a 4 cm surface layer of asphalt concrete and, in addition, the existing concrete surface of the taxiway must be constructed using a 5 cm Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer (Sami construction method). Individual severely damaged concrete slabs must be replaced in the overall structure using asphalt construction. Of WeiAfterwards, surface treatment of the drainage channels (total length approx. 800m) must be carried out. Flight operations must continue to be maintained in the adjacent flight operations areas. In the construction area, sections must be completed outside of Hamburg's regular operating hoursAt the airport, work is carried out at night (usually between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning) and on weekends.
