- As part of this procurement procedure, the assembly insurance for new, conversion and dismantling projects is advertised at the location of the Charlottenburg Heating Power plant. The aim of the structural and technical transformation is to ensure future heat supply in the supply area 1 of Berliners Energie und Warme GmbH (VG1) and the implementation of the coal phase -out by 2030 at the latest.
The measures include the replacement of the existing gas turbines [GT 4 and GT 5] as well as the expansion of the district heating capacity of currently 300 MWTH to around 520 MWTH. This should be done by the construction one Triple KWK guest turbine system with a thermal output of approx. 320 MWTH and an electrical output of approx. 170 mwel. In addition, the construction of an energy center, the construction of a new fuel supply and the installation of four electrical are built Hot water producers with a total output of 200 MWTH (4 x 50 MW).
The subject of the assembly insurance is also the new direction and upgrading of media supply and connection for gas, electricity and district heating at the Charlottenburg location.
