• Description:
• The Gutterquelle waterworks, built in 1969/70, supplies around 90% of Donaueschingen's drinking water and is therefore the central waterworks for the city of Donaueschingen. The waterworks itself is located in the immediate vicinity of the spring. At the Gutterquelle waterworks A number of different renovations have been carried out in the recent past. Despite the numerous renovations, there are still deficits in today's waterworks. The waterworks is to be built at a new location outside the protection zone become. Ultrafiltration, activated carbon, a central softening system using LPRO, a UV system, disinfection and the simultaneous use of the Gutterquelle and the Ruckhalde deep well are being considered, but not yet decided. In advance was the fountain Ruckhalde was newly developed and integrated into the existing Gutterquelle waterworks in terms of pipelines and controls.
