Awarding of regular passenger transport services on line 88 in the Eichstaett district The Eichstaett district intends to act as the responsible authority within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2007 on public passenger transport services (VO
1370/2007) to issue a public service contract (OeDA) for public passenger transport services in
its area of responsibility. The subject of the intended OeDA is all current and future public passenger transport services on line 88. At the start of operations (1.4.2025) these are the following transport services:
Line 88: Lippertshofen - Boehmfeld - Hofstetten - Hitzhofen - Eichstaett
The OeDA refers to public transport services within the meaning of § 8 PBefG, regardless of the specific form of service (in particular scheduled services in Sinne of §§ 42, 43 PBefG). The operator
will be granted an exclusive right within the limits of Section 8a Paragraph 8 PBefG.
The OeDA will contain regulations according to which the transport offer within the
framework determined in the OeDA is adapted to changing traffic needs and to the NVP in its respective casecurrent version as well as other changed circumstances (such as technical developments, environmental and climate protection concerns). The rights to change relate to the type and scope as well as quality of the transport services and to transport tariffs. This can result in changes as well...
