B1, VKE D18A, Neuss - planning -accompanying measurement including volume body modeling
To the west, the B 1 connects to the A 57. It thus fulfills an important feeder function to the Automen A 46/A 57 as well as the Duesseldorf center and the Neuss harbor. There is also a double-track tram route of local public transport between Neuss and Duesseldorf via the Joseph Cardinal Frings Bridge.
On January 1st, 2024 the road construction load went to the federal road management above. Refurbishment and repair work has been running since 2024.
In the context of a feasibility study, it is currently being examined under which boundary conditions this construction measure realized can be. In addition to the replacement building of the Rhine bridge, the possibilities of the routing west and east of the bridge with connection to the inventory must be examined in the required length. The adjacent areas influencing the planning are both for the final state as well as
to consider for the construction states.
